Horse Lessons

Individualized lesson with one of our horses. Each lesson is tailored based on the rider, and on a one to one basis.

Our goal...

Each lesson has a routine to help develop the rider's confidence, stay comfortable and to build a connection with the horse. The goal of each riding lesson is to get a solid foundation of riding, horse care, and everything you need to take with you to ultimately ride/own your own horse someday. We offer lessons to 5+ years old and up!

What is taught during a lesson?

Retrieving/Halter

Each lesson will start with retrieving the horse and haltering the horse.

Grooming/Saddling

Next, we will work on grooming with proper tools and saddling.

Leading/Riding

Warming up and how to sit properly in the saddle, working at the rider's pace.

End on a Good Note

At the end of each lesson, we like to give the horse a treat, return to the pasture/stall and take the halter off.

How often?

Mostly 1x a week or 2x a month. This is based on the wants/needs of the rider and/or family members.
